New Bedford Studio

Welcome

This space is designed to help you feel informed, supported, and comfortable before and after your session. Here you’ll find helpful guidance, studio details, policies, and answers to common questions so you can arrive feeling relaxed and prepared.

Before Your Session

  • Health Intake Form — Before your session, you’ll complete a brief health intake form that will be emailed to you. Please complete it beforehand so Christina is aware of any contraindications and can tailor your massage safely and effectively.
  • Arrival Time — Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in and get comfortable before your session begins. This timing is important: arriving too early may mean waiting, and arriving too late may result in a shortened session.
  • Clean & Well — Arrive clean and freshly showered, not post‑workout, so our hygiene is at an optimal level for a safe, comfortable session. If you have any contagious skin issues, please reschedule once resolved. If you are ill, please do not come.
  • Preparing for your appointment — No necklaces during the massage, and wear something comfortable that removes easily and may get a little oil on it without causing a problem. You undress to your comfort level. I do work on the full glute area, but you are always covered at the crease. Longer‑haired clients can come with hair in an up‑do (think Pebbles from The Flintstones). If you have extensions or hair that cannot get oily, please bring your silk bonnet with you.
  • What to expect — Before your session, I’ll check in about what’s happening in your body and what you’re hoping for in terms of specific areas, timing, and goals; but during your session, if anything feels uncomfortable, I need to know. If something feels like a trigger point, knot, or an area that needs more kneading (pun intended), please tell me — your feedback helps me support you more effectively.
  • Prenatal guidelines — Please let me know your favorite areas to be massaged so I can support your comfort throughout your session.
